we worked on the exhibited graphic design, rise up rim dong sik in seoul museum of art. ‘layer’, and ‘horizonation’ were the motif of the graphic design. we intended to express the narrative and each phase of the work with design by using layers, which represent ‘the past that exists in the present’, and ‘the past and the present that recurs’ as well as continuous currentization of old memories. size magnification method of images in print machines featured halftone dot and pixel resizing of the differently recurring act‐performance‐ in the past. plus, we used gothic type font that were found in the early stage of the typesetting form the write, rim dongsik.
